Ventura man arrested on suspicion of illegal weapon charges - VC Star Posted: 15 Mar 2020 05:03 PM PDT Deputies arrested a man in Ventura on Friday who was suspected of illegally possessing firearms, authorities said Saturday. The arrest was the conclusion of an investigation into the illegal firearm activity of Seta Vui, 29, of Ventura. Vui is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office. More: 18-year-old driver allegedly DUI in crash that damaged Santa Paula business Around 1 p.m. on Friday, investigators served a search warrant at Vui's residence in the 1000 block of Saratoga Avenue. The search yielded two illegal firearms and several rounds of ammunition, according to deputies. Vui was arrested on suspicion of multiple felony firearm violations and was booked into Ventura County jail. His bail was set at $750,000, and he is currently scheduled to appear in court next on Friday.
